Fripp Design and Research helped Sheffield University School of Dentistry secure a grant of £510K to research a new way of rapid manufacturing soft tissue prosthetics
Following extensive research into the possible rapid manufacture of soft tissue prostheses, Fripp Design and Research was able to demonstrate through the use of rapid manufacturing techniques the possibility to rapid manufacturer soft tissue prostheses and automate the process for repeat orders at a later date. Fripp's findings lead to a successful grant application from the Wellcome trust for £510K to further develop this project; the goal being to develop potential IP and the commercialisation for sales to the NHS. As well as providing research and development for the project, Fripp Design and Research is also responsible for Project and Budget Management.
