Concept Design

We differentiate Concept Design from product design for a number of reasons. For us concept design is about pushing the frontier of what could be done. Finding answers to the question 'what if?'
     - pushing the boundaries of design
     - looking at how to solve problems without constraints. The process of concept design is important to us and our clients
     - it allows us to explore the possible
     - only bringing it back to the probable when we need to deal with the real world constraints
We use a number of techniques in developing concepts:
     - Brainstorming: ensuring every idea is heard on its merits rather than the personality promoting it
     - Sketching: for us the ability to articulate ideas through simple sketching is a core skill for any design company
     - CAD Rendering: turning ideas into something 'photorealistic' is a great way to communicate ideas to all stakeholders
