In 2010 Fripp Design and Research and the CE Marking Association formed an alliance to bring benefit to our clients projects. All too often compliance is an afterthought, and potentially an expensive one. Fripp Design and Research quickly identified that this area was an essential addition to the early stages of research of any product development project, reducing the risk that the final concept will not conform.
The CE Marking Association, established in 1989, are a leading authority and figurehead in the compliance arena. A not for profit organisation that thrives on assisting SMEs to ensure their products are acting as required in the marketplace.
The CE Marking Association main purpose is to assist manufacturers of products that fall within the scope of at least one of the CE Marking Directives (such as electrical equipment, machines, medical devices, construction products, toys, and other consumer products), in understanding and meeting their legal obligations with regards to CE Marking and product compliance by providing help and advice, product testing and assessment, training, and supporting ongoing conformity through membership of the Association.
